Custom-printed GatorFoam signs are lightweight, rigid display boards for indoor presentations, exhibits, lobby graphics, and event signage. A polystyrene foam core with reinforced wood-fiber faces gives GatorFoam more durable faces than standard foamcore. Your artwork is UV printed on adhesive vinyl and mounted to the board.
GatorFoam Sign Specifications
- Thickness: 3/16-inch or 1/2-inch.
- Board color: white or black in either thickness.
- Printing: full-color artwork mounted on one side or both sides.
- Finish: UV ink with a matte finish.
- Maximum panel size: 48 inches x 96 inches.
- Use: indoor displays only. GatorFoam is not waterproof.

Custom Size And Quantity Pricing
Enter your width, height, and quantity, then choose the thickness, board color, and number of printed sides. Pricing starts at a $16 product minimum; the calculator shows the price for your selected configuration before you add it to your cart. Shipping and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Shipping And San Diego Pickup
Choose shipping, La Mesa pickup, or Pine Valley pickup in the order form. Boards larger than 48 inches x 38 inches are pickup only. For an oversized board, select pickup and contact us before ordering to confirm dimensions and pickup arrangements. Pickup instructions are sent when your order is ready. Production time varies by order and workload; please confirm a firm deadline before ordering.
Artwork And File Setup
- Accepted artwork: PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, JPG, JPEG, or PNG, up to 100 MB per file.
- Prepare artwork at the ordered size. A print-ready, single-page PDF is preferred.
- Use CMYK color and convert spot colors to CMYK.
- For raster artwork, use 150 dpi at the final print size.
- Convert live fonts to outlines when preparing vector artwork.
- Do not include crop marks or bleeds.
- For different front and back designs, contact us to confirm how to supply both files.
If your order requires a proof, we will email it for your approval before production.
GatorFoam Vs. Foam Board And PVC
Both GatorFoam and standard Foam Board signs have a lightweight foam core. GatorFoam adds reinforced faces for greater rigidity and face durability; standard Foam Board is a light, delicate option for dry indoor presentations. Neither material is waterproof.
